Group Show Opening Open!!!

Don Macdonald, T.k. Workman, Carl Gonsolas, John Schere and someone whos name I forget, but who's painting is unforgetable, sorry man :(, and many more, including a lovely yellow and fuzzy window piece by Lavaraius himself, the self proclaimed "Mr. Iluminato", who will be having his own not anti but not pro, NUIT BLANCHE, simultaniously occuring, sorry to John Schere, we will reschedule your oct. 1st, you are a good sport and a better painter.

So nothing about me today, it's all about the show gallery.

I showed up today around 4, and Carl was patiently sitting outside waiting to be let in :(, he hung 2 more of his paintings, which are the most humbly priced in the whole show, and I think really great, including his drawings of SULU and SPOCK, so any heroes fans or star treck fans who want a good portraiture of their sci-fi heroes, they're for sale for under a hundred dollars ( I won't say how under, but they're quite reasonable, quite under 100 dollars).

T.K. didn't like her paintings being unvisivble behind Lava's great big fuzzy yellow floscflorescant paint and found wood painting, so she tried to move his out of the way, but I tried to tell her that I promised him the window, and J.C. aproved, so show gallery eticate states that first come, first serve, so next time come first and grab the window, but thank you for your 3 paintings, they're great too, it's just that Lava's work always draws people in, and that is more fair to the community of artists we hope to foster.

John Schere's work is also quite great, acrilic paintings that seem so fresh they arn't even in frames (excuse my lack of the technical knowledge on the hanging terms or what not, I'm a volenteer, not an artist, which is also my favorite catch frase when I'm in the gallery.) And sorry if I mispelt your name.

Don Macdonald is the greatest old man I have ever met. He was in the navy during the second world war, but worked at a cantina in canada rather than fighting. Sign me up for that. Then he did over 20 years at the CBC, starting in radio brodcasting, producing and anouncing, and then in '52 moved over to tv and eventually was incharge of programing in some provinces, but hit hard times and retired early and became a great artist, see his copper sad face :( in the window, like the greek "tradgedy and commedy".

Anyways, the show was great, the great was show gallery and thank you J.C. for all your hard
work and dedication and philanthropy. Lets hope the next opening is bigger and better.

So come by sometime, and come and volenteer, because I have a very unsteady work schedule at the flower shop, so I need someone or some people to help me keep regular hours.

Next challenge media!

Volenteer J.
